# Create Event

- Tap the **orange cross** on the bottom right from anywhere in the app to **create a new event**.

- Tap the cross on the cover photo and choose to **take a picture** or **upload** from your phone’s gallery.

- You can crop the image to fit in to your cover photo space. Tap **Continue** when you’re happy with how it looks.

- Enter your event details and click **Save**. If you don’t want the event to show up for the public yet, make sure the toggle is set to **Private**.
